About us

My name is Daren Loveless. I’m a native Utahn who has spent much of my life exploring the mountains of the Wasatch Front—from fishing glacial lakes to skiing and camping in the backcountry. I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors.

In early 2025, I decided to become a travel advisor to take advantage of the travel opportunities the industry offers and to help offset the cost of my love for cruising. Along the way, I have discovered how much I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for cruising and travel with others.

I specialize in Alaska and Pacific Ocean cruises and mountain getaways throughout the western United States, in both winter and summer. 3 common myths about using a travel agent:

Myth 2: I can find better deals myself online.
Reality: While travelers can find deals, agents have access to specialized, industry-only booking systems, group rates, and direct connections to vendors. They also monitor for price drops even after you have booked.

Myth 1: It costs more to use a travel agent.
Reality: Using a travel agent is usually free to the consumer, as they are paid commissions by travel suppliers (hotels, cruise lines) rather than by you. They can also secure exclusive deals and perks that you cannot find online, such as room upgrades, onboard credits, or excursion credits.

Myth 3: You lose control of your trip.
Reality: A travel advisor works with you to plan your trip, meaning you still make the final decisions on where to go, stay, and what to do. They act as an advisor, not a replacement for your own planning preferences.
